The Ginestre via ferrata is one of the 4 via ferratas on the eastern shore of Lake Idro. Rightly rated as 'Difficult' due to numerous exposed and overhanging sections. It's adrenaline-filled and puts your arms to the test. The view of the lake is magnificent. In summer it is better to do it in the morning to avoid direct sun; maybe the opposite in the cold months. There are escape routes along the route for those wishing to abandon the via ferrata prematurely.
