This sanctuary is a magical place. It is said that in the first half of the 17th century a great light appeared and the charcoal burners who were the first to rush to the place were presented with a painting of the Madonna of exquisite workmanship. The church was enlarged in the early 1900s by the population of Hano, the ancient name of Capovalle.
