The Porte Saint-Louis is a historic city gate, built in 1620, and one of the main entrances to the fortified old town. It is part of the medieval city walls, which were built and reinforced in the 11th and 14th centuries. Its architecture features an arch and, formerly, a drawbridge. Today, the gate has been restored and is still open to traffic.
