It commemorates the death of four men who had an accident on a rapid and drowned while rafting on the Isar. Two of the men were officials from the Royal Bavarian State Building Administration. It was also this office that had the stone erected in memory of its two employees.

Memorial stone on the Isar cycle path for the victims of the ferry accident on May 21st, 1907. The approximately 4m high cuboid is made of shell limestone. Four men died while rafting in the Isar rapids. Two officials from the Royal Bavarian State Building Administration. The inscription reads: "On May 21, 1907, August Kahn, royal building officer, Anton Spiegel, royal building officer, Martin Duxneuner, boatman, and Franz Pechler, boatman had an accident while traveling on the Isar. Erected by the Royal Bair in honor of his memory .State Construction Administration.
