Moere station is a historic station located along the Groene 62, the former railway line between Ostend and Torhout. This station was built around 1868, when the railway line was built by the "Société Anonyme du Chemin de Fer d'Ostende à Armentiers". It served as an important connection between Paris and Ostend, which was especially useful for Parisians who wanted to travel quickly to the Belgian coast.
Today, Moere station is one of the few stations along the Groene 62 that has been preserved in its original state.
