View of Bergerfurth Lakes

The view of water is beautiful.

At 12:00 we set off from Wesel Town Hall with 18 cyclists over the Auedeich towards Flürener Wald. It is dry and a pleasant 22 degrees. Our first stop is at Diersfordter Waldsee near the houseboats. We continue towards Schüttwick, always along the lakes, even if we often cannot see the water because of all the bushes. On our way to Jöckern we are delighted by the wonderful rose bushes of the Neuhollandshof. We continue towards Bislich over the Rhine dyke and after 27 km we take a break in the country air. The cake and the hearty dishes taste great as always, the atmosphere is relaxed. After our long break we make our way back through the Flürener Wald and the Weseler Aue.
