In 1923, Hugo Simon had the caretaker's house, a replica of the Weimar garden house, built by the architect Ernst Rossius-Rhyn for his horticultural director Alfred Kutta. The house was built on the north hill. A larger storage room could be built into the embankment. The side of this cellar facing the house consists of Rüdersdorf limestone with a round-arched, conical niche. Above the cellar is the first terrace of the park-like part of the north hill, which was accessible from the garden director's apartment via a bridge with a wrought iron railing.
The manager's house fulfilled several functions. The basement was used for storage and economic purposes. Alfred Kutta lived with his family on the first floor. Guest rooms were on the second floor.
