Santa Bárbara Castle was built on Mount Benacantil. The approach is arduous, but the view from the top is well worth the effort. A visit in the evening for sunset is also worthwhile. Cycling or even pushing your bike is not permitted on or inside the castle itself. Crossing the drawbridge is fine, but after that, you must leave your bike at the fortress entrance or in the (last) parking lot before the castle. The buses also stop there, so you can park right at the door.
