From 1857 until the end of World War II, the park belonged to the estate of Justice Counselor Georg von Siemens, who had the once baroque park converted into a landscape garden. Around 1907, he bought the teahouse, which had previously been used as an exhibition pavilion for the Dresden Arts and Crafts Exhibition. The wooden house, designed by the architect William Lossow, with discreetly decorative carvings, lattice windows and a tail roof, was originally covered with wooden shingles. Inside there is a fireplace made of Italian marble. The house is now used as a registry office. The park is privately owned and has been closed since 2023 due to internal administrative disputes (some branches may be rotten) (as of October 2024).
