From the heart of New Mills follow the Millennium Walkway to this Local Nature Reserve, part of the Torrs Riverside Park. Mousley Bottom is only a short stroll downhill from New Mills Central Station or easy to get to by parking at Hague bar Picnic area & park.

The reserve is a haven for wildlife, so keep an eye out for various bird species, insects, and other animals. It is especially well known for its wild flower meadows.
The reserve's proximity to the River Goyt means it can be prone to flooding, so check conditions before your visit, especially after heavy rainfall.
