The metal corner profiles bear the names of the winners since 1973, the first year of the Paddestraat in the Ronde. The winner of 1988 (Eddy Planckaert) is missing from the list, because the Paddestraat was missing from the course that year due to road works. In 2011 it is mentioned (with a wink or a bit bitterly?) "Paddestraat forgotten", because the street was not included in the route at that time.
