Fort Monostor (Hungarian: Monostori Erőd) (also called Fort Sandberg) is a fort near the city of Komárom. It was built between 1850 and 1871 as part of the Komárom fortification system. After World War II, the Soviets built the largest ammunition depot in the Monostor Fortress (Translated from Wikipedia).
