An insider tip for those interested in art is the Catholic castle and, since 1885, parish church of the Assumption of Mary, built in 1713-1715 on behalf of Canon Johann Philipp Fuchs of Dornheim. His coat of arms, an upright fox, is placed above the church entrance and main altar. The architect was the prince-bishop's urban and rural architect Joseph Greising (1664-1721), Balthasar Neumann's direct predecessor and one of the great Baroque architects in Franconia.
