This time we wanted to be "smart" and already bought the ticket at the hotel. That was a mistake that cost us over an hour. When we got in line with our "entrance tickets" to the entrance, we were told that we had to exchange them for "correct entrance tickets" at another ticket office. So queue there again (it took forever!) And queue again with the "exchanged" tickets at the entrance!

The entrance fee in the park was the same as in the hotel!

If you want to visit the botanical garden (it's worth it), you should do it first before the sun is really high. There are more shady spots in the zoo.

A highlight in the zoo is "feeding giraffes". There are also various shows in the park, including one in the botanical garden (birds of prey show). These take place at fixed times when you have to be on site. It is best to collect information at the current times on the homepage beforehand and make a "plan" so that you don't have to rush all over the park to be on time at the right place.

We only know the Parrot Show (2003) and the Bird of Prey Show (2015).
