Makadi Bay is a resort town with numerous hotels and spas on the Egyptian Riviera on the Red Sea. The sandy beaches are popular with diving and snorkeling fans, and excursions into the underwater world include caves, coral reefs and sea creatures such as barracudas. Near the bay there are many discos and restaurants that are open late into the night and serve international dishes in addition to fish and seafood. Family-friendly attractions include an adventure pool and the Mini Egypt miniature park with models of famous landmarks.
