n 1873, a few days before the opening of the second section of line 38 from Micheroux to Herve, the Belgian state railways opened line 38, the origin of which is Chênée station. The station is the terminus of the line until January 25, 1875, when the next section of Herve opens at Battice3 station.
Line 38 declined after World War II. The passenger train service was discontinued in 1965. Now you will find the wonderfully accessible bicycle line here.
