Hiking
- Very nice quarry lake with a lawn and a bathing beach
- There are also two beach volleyball courts with sand
- In summer (when the weather is good) the kiosk has been operating again since 2020. There you can get cold drinks, ice cream and small snacks.

Hiking
The lake idyll "Epple" is located at the westernmost point of Neuburg in Rhineland-Palatinate. With a large lawn, long sandy beach and free entry, a short detour to Epple from Karlsruhe is worthwhile.

Also accessible in winter.
