Pumping station Wangerland

The pumping station in Horumersiel serves to drain the Sielacht Wangerland via the Wanger low into the North Sea.

There is also an exhibition downstairs in the building, but it was closed today.

The four propeller pumps are capable of pumping a total of 54,000 liters of water per second from the Hohenstief to the Wangertief.
