Cycling

The Griffin Monument was built in 1972. Its designer is Leonia Chmielnik, who collaborated with Anna Paszkiewicz on its execution. The artists from Szczecin jointly created a sculpture in the courtyard of the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle, from where it was later moved to the renovated town hall. The griffon is supported on its hind legs, lifting the chest and front legs at the same time. On the pedestal there is an inscription: SOCIETY OF FRIENDS OF SZCZECIN IN THE XXVIII ANNIVERSARY OF LIBERATION. The total height of the monument with the base is 445 cm
