The Arkonka stream flows into the lake, and in the past the waters of Osówka also flowed through it. In the 20th century, there was a swimming pool here, which was closed down over time. The tank is currently stocked with fish. Bathing is prohibited. Sandy beaches and a clearing by the lake (with a place to light bonfires) are a stop on hiking and cycling trails running nearby (including the yellow tourist trail of the "Arkoński" Forest Park). They are also a destination for walks among Szczecin residents. There is also a 3.5-kilometer running route around the lake,
