The approximately 56 km long former railway line from Soest to Brilon is known as the “Pengel-Anton cycle path” or also as the “Kiepenkerl cycle path”.

The popular section, which winds its way from Soest to Möhnesee, is mostly well paved and offers great viewing points with views of the Möhnetal and Möhnesee.

The section is also part of the sculpture trail "Waymarks on Hellweg". Among other things, the three interesting sandstone sculptures with the title "Fern-seh-en-de" can be seen here.
