The Chapel of Tears stands in the middle of the old Franconian cemetery with carved rock tombs. Odile is said to have prayed here daily for the salvation of her father's soul.
The Chapel of Tears is lavishly decorated with gold mosaics from the Hortus Deliciarum - 1st half of the 20th century.
