Built in 1977 by Josef Träger.
It stands in the place of an old wooden chapel that was destroyed in October 1944 by the pressure of a failed aerial bomb.
The old wooden chapel was built 150 years ago because a son of the Gehenhammer farmer was dragged along a not inconsiderable distance by a team of oxen.
Apart from skin abrasions, bruises and sprains, he suffered no major injuries.
