The part of Daleside Road between The Alders in the south and Moorlands in the north is particularly picturesque, with lovely views of Rosedale Moor to the north-east. Don't be fooled by the name - the 'Road' is, in fact, a track. However, there is another Daleside Road to the east (yes, it's called exactly the same), which is actually a tarmac road - don't confuse them!
