The Goethalsmolen in Wakken is a stone grain and oil windmill, a gallery mill type, on the northeast side of Molenstraat, behind the house at no. 20.
He was built in 1787 as a post mill to grind buckwheat by Joseph Françis De Borchgraeve, born in Wakken in 1748. He requested permission from the Count of Wakken, who owned his own banmolen (mill subject to feudal dues). Earlier, in 1782, P.F. Van Reckem had already submitted an application to the Financial Council in Brussels to build a grain windmill in Wakken, but it remained without result.

There are fixed days on which the mill opens to the public, such as the fairs and the Flemish Mill Days, but this also happens by appointment for groups.
