To do in the summer. Although Komoot suggests this "cycle tour" route, I would say it is definitely off-road. The river can be waded with bikes with suitable tires. There are those who have waded in the saddle, but given the presence of algae I would feel I advise against it. The climb back to the provincial road is pretty steep and battered.
