A gloriously preserved building from the medieval times, Nappa Hall was constructed by the Metcalfe family, cousins of the Cliffords of Skipton. A popular rest stop for nobility travelling across the Dales, Nappa Hall has slept Lady Anne Clifford, Sir Walter Raleigh, James I and Mary Queen of Scots, amongst others.
