Amerigo-Vespucci-Platz is a newly created urban square in the Elbbrückenquartier in the eastern part of Hamburg's HafenCity in the Hamburg-Mitte district.
The name was given to the Italian sailor and explorer Amerigo Vespucci (1451–1512). After around four years of construction, it was opened in June 2021 by Hamburg's First Mayor Peter Tschentscher, and the client is HafenCity Hamburg GmbH.
The design comes from the Atelier Loidl office in Berlin.
