On the slope of the Butznickel, a long mountain ridge west of Schloßborn, a forest chapel was built by the community in 1950 and consecrated on the Thanksgiving Day in 1952. Small-volume building consisting of a plastered wall niche and a gable roof projecting on wooden supports. A Madonna of the Protective Cloak carved by Eugen Birkenmeyer, Freiburg im Breisgau, was placed inside and consecrated in 1954.
