In the far west of Denmark, in Thyborøn, lies the Snail House (Sneglehuset). A unique house adorned with thousands of shells and snails. The house was created by a single man who, in 1949 at the age of 58, began building and decorating it. Over 25 years, the house became Alfred's life's work, and in 2019 it celebrated its 70th anniversary.

The house contains two exhibitions.
