The last semi-preserved arched hall of the 42 arched halls that once stood on the Venlo Air Base. Only the construction of this hall (reinforced concrete) prevented the usual blasting method from leading to the collapse of the structure. Because of the relatively expensive construction, there was only one test sample in Venlo. Because this hall shows very clearly how we have to imagine a round arch hall spatially, the support association "Former Fliegerhorst Venlo e.V." took the initiative shortly after its foundation to uncover this object as the first architectural monument of vegetation and present it to the public.
