The Mühlengraben accidentally became the absolute highlight of our short hike.

The original route did not lead us along the ditch. However, since our dog wanted to go in a certain direction and we hadn't paid attention to the fact that we had to turn, we hiked this really unbelievable beautiful path along the Mühlengraben. "Thanks Hilmar"

So if you want to see the Regenstein Mill, the sand caves in the Heers and / or the Regenstein castle ruins, remember to include the path at the Mühlengraben in your hike. It's definitely worth it.

For stamp hunters of the Harz hiking nobility: Regensteinmühle HWN 82, Regenstein castle ruins HWN 80 and sand caves in the Heers HWN 81, can be found wonderfully in a hike and are all absolutely worth seeing.

    best regards

Beautiful hiking trail on which has also left old traces of transport in the sandstone. Unfortunately everything was full of leaves so that it could not be seen.

Material and goods were transported in this way. The wheels of the wagons formed this ravine together with the draft animals.
