Der alte Flugplatz (aus den 70-er Jahren) wird seit Jahren als Abstellplatz für KFZ aller Art verwendet. Eine riesige Anzahl von PKW und Lieferwagen stehen hier auf Halde. Täglich fahren zig Transport-LKWs durch die umliegenden Orte und liefern an oder transportieren Autos ab. Angeblich handelt es sich um Leasingrückläufer.

Stadtwanderung Nordroute Kassel 10.08.2025
Nette Wanderung vom Ausgangspunkt Hauptbahnhof durch Rothenditmold. Von dort weiter Richtung Schlachthof, Nordstadtpark und Unicampus hoch auf den Möncheberg und von dort über die Eisenschmiede, Holländische Strasse, Westring, Erzbergerstrasse zurüc k zum Ausgangspunkt HBF. -- Geplannt war eine Überquerung des Hauptfriedhofs, musste leider ausfallen, da wir mit Hund unterwegs waren und diese dort verboten sind. --
