The forest path coming from the direction of the monastery is currently being cleared and is therefore temporarily closed - note the signs at the bridge! The ruin itself is very dilapidated, be careful, there are many loose stones and therefore not suitable for viewing or even as a children's playground. A small rest area to the east, including a description of the history of the Scharfeneck ruins, is ideal for a break.
