The Mannersdorf cement plant was founded 125 years ago by the Leube brothers. In 1905 it was taken over by Perlmooser AG, which was to shape the development of the location for the next few decades. The Mannersdorf location has been operated by Lafarge since 1997. It is the largest and most modern cement plant in Austria.
