I crossed this new bridge for the first time today and was amazed by its new dimensions; it felt like I was on a bicycle "highway." Unfortunately, I didn't find it right away! My mistake was looking on the old side; there was only the closure there! The new bridge is on the opposite side of the railway line. Going downstream, simply head towards Regensburg, then take the first underpass on the right, and then another right, and you're back on the railway embankment. Going upstream, the path is clearly visible.
