The Monnikenburenmolen or Nijhuizumermolen is a drainage mill in Nijhuizum, Friesland, Netherlands. It was restored in 2008 after being narrowly saved from demolition in 1994. It is a hollow post mill of the type the Dutch called "spinningenkop".

The lower tower of this mill dates from the 18th century. The mill was equipped with a ship's wheel at the .bouw. The paddle wheel was later replaced by a Viizel.

The mill was used as a windmill until about 1935. After that, a diesel engine was installed to power the Vizel. The upper house and the wick cross have been removed. In 2003 the mill was transferred from the Water Board to the Mill Foundation. The thatched lower tower is unique for a spinner head mill. Completely restored in 2008 and since then the mill has been run by willing millers.
