A more than 300-year-old Walser house, the current museum, has been providing insight into how the mountain farmers used to live and work since 1993. The historic Paarhof Buacher once stood in the Tschapina plot and was moved to the town center in 1991 and 1993. Since 1993 the Municipal Museum has been housed here. This building is a unique object of Walser settlement culture.
