Bürserberg Parish Church (church patron St. Joseph)
The Bürserberg parish church stands to the west above the cut carved out by the Schesabach in the Matin district of the Bürserberg municipality.
In 1719 there was a local chaplaincy. A chapel was consecrated after an expansion in 1730. In 1736 Bürs was separated and the church became a parish church. In 1781 the choir was expanded. In 1837 the cemetery was enlarged. In 1890 the nave was extended. In 1903 the tower was raised. Restorations took place in 1956, 1967 and 1975. In 2016/17, an extensive total renovation costing over 1 million euros took place.
