Mar de Lira is the southernmost stretch of beach in the beautiful Bay of Carnota. A cul-de-sac leads from the coastal road in Lira down to the beach. At the end is a roundabout with a few parking spaces.
From there it is just a few steps to the fine sandy beach. There is a shower to rinse off the salt.
You can use stone tables and benches at the picnic area or the public grill. If you prefer to be cooked for, you can eat and drink something in the nearby "Moncho" cafe-bar.
