The Paracelsushof owes its name to the famous doctor and researcher Theophrast von Hohenheim, known as Paracelsus.
Paracelsus spent his childhood and youth in Villach, since his father, Wilhelm von Hohenheim, was town doctor in Villach from 1505 to 1534.
The house worth seeing is located in the heart of Villach's old town and has a very beautiful inner courtyard with Renaissance arcades.
