The 16th-century parish church was originally built as a subsidiary church of the foundation of Andrzej Kochanowski (the poet's cousin) and his wife Anna née Mystowska. Inside is a tombstone and crypt of the Kochanowskis.
In the nave there is a wooden epitaph of Andrzej Kochanowski, donated by his nephew, with the Kochanowski coat of arms.
Nephew, with the Kochanowskis' Korwin crest. In Gródek, a hill has been preserved on which a knight's seat once stood, surrounded by a moat that still exists today (source: information board on site).
