Tips
Here, the locals like to go swimming at the weekend. The beach is well located and accessible by public transport. However, the water is only from May to September Or one is hard boiled. I was already bathing in April, but it is really cold then. If you're looking for a spot under the pavilions to have shade, it's best to go early in the summer. From 10 clock is full on the weekend

The beaches are best reached from Syntagma Square. Take the tram Lienen 4 or 5. The bus also goes to the beach, but is usually overcrowded. With the well-kept public beaches one pays between 7 and 25 € entrance per person. But there are also free beach sections. 😉
