The Roman Catholic Cemetery in Roosendaal also contains a field with civilian victims of bombings and shelling by the Allies. A total of 45 civilian victims were killed during the liberation by the English "Polar Bears". The Germans had constructed a tank ditch in Roosendaal, resulting in a tank battle in Roosendaal. Another burial took place at a single grave, long after the war.
