The bicycle café has a beautiful large outdoor terrace where you can relax. Be sure to take a look inside and take a seat on one of the wooden benches. Enjoy the warmth of the coal stove. The Brughuis is a brown pub with a rich history. Since 1350, there has been a wooden bridge over the Dijle, more or less at the same place here, connecting the village of Muizen with the Kempen. On the oldest detailed map of the site, from the 18th century, the predecessor of the current Brughuis is next to that bridge: a low stone farm with a thatched roof.
