Hall church from the 13th century with a square west tower and baroque tower dome; originally dedicated to the apostles Peter and Paul; one of the oldest churches in the Dresden-Meißen diocese; especially: during the Reformation period, Ostritz belonged to the Archdiocese of Prague and was subordinate to the Cistercian Abbey of St. Marienthal - thus Ostritz remained Catholic as one of the few places in Upper Lusatia;
