The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1409 after the foundation of Janusz, Duke of Mazovia. The original area included today's parishes: Dobrylas, Kuzie, Miastkowo, Zbójna and partly Turos.

Brick church built in 1409, burned down in 1788. At that time a wooden chapel was built and in 1821 the former church was restored, which was expanded in 1865. Consecrated in 1874 by the Bishop of Sejny. Totally destroyed in the war in 1915, rebuilt in 1922-1926 thanks to the efforts of Fr. Witold Supinski. During the last war it was again completely demolished. Rebuilt in the years 1946-1956 thanks to the efforts of the parish priests: Father Dr. Stanislaw Prószyński and Stanislaw Miklaszewicz.
