Beautiful and well preserved castle! The crowds on weekends & holidays can get pretty hectic though, so plan accordingly. If you're planing on biking through here, just be aware of the vehicle traffic on the steep climbs.

Starting in 1900, German Emperor Wilhelm II had a dream castle built on the ruins of a medieval castle. The architect, Eberhardt, largely drew on ancient traditions. It can be visited in its entirety: €12 admission; in July/August, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., otherwise shorter opening hours.
