The Evangelical Lutheran parish church of the Holy Trinity was first mentioned in 1520 as St. Jacob's Church. It belonged as a daughter church to the original parish of Sesslach. In 1530 the Reformation was introduced. Today's late baroque complex, a hall church with a hipped mansard roof, was inaugurated in 1722. The three-storey, 28 meter high facade tower has a Welsche dome. The choir room, which is spanned by a cross vault, is located in the basement
