I've ridden this trail several times, including today. I like the natural path with the massive rock formations on one side and the vastness of the rain on the other. The trail constantly goes through waist-high grass and bushes; there are definitely ticks here; I wear long pants here and socks over my pants. But I haven't found any ticks on my trail so far.
